Luckily, no one was hurtThe New Inn at Neewdood with its derelict Third Floor. These rooms go back to when it was built around 1760. Meat hooks in the ceiling for hanging game. The wall paper on the stair well was just as old. All up here was Lathe and Plaster. The floors were “Earthen” or “Cob” concrete and straw.Room looking over the New Inn Farm. A lovely feature left from when the bake house was a seperate building. Even had its own well.Every February we hosted the end of season shoot for Needwood House Farm. Venison in Red Wine, Pheasant, Salmon bought down with the Scots boys. Always a curry.
